Customs Information

What to expect at customs in Zambia, Zimbabwe and the DRC, and which documents to prepare.

Duties and taxes

Import duty, VAT and other levies are set by each country's revenue authority and depend on the goods' classification (HS code), value and origin. They are not included in freight charges. Final amounts are only known once customs assesses the declaration.
